Ousters

The Ousters are an ancient, nature-aligned race that lived in perfect harmony with the earth during the age of Adam. When the balance shifted, they entered a deep, protective hibernation, trusting the earth to rest.

• The Catalyst: The catastrophic explosion from Adam's Sanctuary tore through the roots of the world. The violent spiritual shockwave rippled through the leylines, painfully tearing the Ousters from their centuries of dreaming.

• The Current Status: The Ousters awakened to a nightmare. They look up to see the sky choked by the unnatural shroud of the Chaos Templum. They feel Gaia screaming in agony from two distinct plagues: the power-hungry, parasitic Vampires who seek to exploit the divine, and the loud, short-sighted Slayers whose destructive machinery, pollution, and metallic weapons scar the sacred soil.

• The Objective: Mobilized by the earth's pain, the Ousters are on a holy crusade to completely eradicate both factions and restore the natural balance. After striking their initial blows against the encroaching invaders, they must return to Ousters Village and seek out Lipati to plan the next stage of Gaia's vengeance.
